Here is a 3 step plan to remove dark circles under eyes along with puffy and baggy eyes. Follow these suggestions and you will soon have a new appearance.
Step 1. Get to Bed on Time
Dark circles under eyes develop with lack of sleep. If you stay up most of the night, don’t be surprised if you have dark circles and baggy eyes. Develop the habit of getting plenty of rest, 6-8 hours EVERY night, not just weekends. But you say you have puffy eyes. Well, if you are getting a little older, and who isn’t, that could be from something else. Like what? Keep reading, please.
Step 2. Drink Clean, Purified Water
Yes, I know you’ve heard it before. Drink 8 glasses of water each day. The good news is you can count the fruit and veggie juices also. Just stay hydrated because puffy eyes come from excess fluid under the eyes. Drinking good clean water, not tap water, flushes out the toxin waste under your eyes causing puffiness. Oh, don’t just drink any water. Don’t drink the tap water, much of it has some sort of contamination. Filtered water is the best insurance. I found an excellent source of good, inexpensive water filters at CleanWaterPure.com. Check them out. They have a filter type that fits any situation.
One more thing about puffy eyes and dark circles is that if you are getting older some of the problem could be from capillary damage. The skin under the eyes is thinner than most other skin so is vulnerable. Capillaries have difficulty transporting the fluids around the eyes, therefore puffiness. But there is a solution to that problem.
Step 3. Eye Gel or Creams That Work
It has been found from clinical studies that gels containing peptides, protein fragments, along with antioxidants can promote the making of new skin cells and fibers. Of course, most companies use artificial ingredients which do nothing except bring possible harm to your skin. Responsible companies use plant-derived antioxidants which promote good health to capillaries.
Research results from gels or creams containing plant derived ingredients are amazingly effective. As a matter of fact, 65% of the volunteers in one study had a significant reduction in baggy eyes.
If the problem is a few wrinkles and puffy eyes, you’ll be happy to know that 62% got a large reduction in wrinkles and even crow’s feet. As for dark smudgy spots, 60% reported that they were gone.
Get some sleep, Drink purified water and Use an eye gel that is natural and safe. I’m glad I found the one I did.
And now see my website listed below and say “Good Bye puffy eyes and dark circles.”

First of all, there is a lot of confusion about the causes and how to get rid of dark under eye circles. People generally think that it might be due to a hangover or late nights and will make flippant remarks. But the truth is quite different. There are many causes and the main ones are that it could be due to nasal congestion, allergies, poor circulation, broken blood vessels and genetic disposition.
I can tell you one big secret about how to get rid of dark under eye circles and that is to avoid the compound called Matrixyl,a peptide, which is added to lots of eye serums on the market to-day. It is not effective at all in stimulating collagen to start growing so it has produced very disappointing results.
The second big secret is that lots of eye serums or balms can contain very harmful ingredients which are damaging to our health. Much better to avoid them. The latest eye cream I picked up contained propylene glycol, polyacrylamide, phenoxyethanol and isoparaffin. All these are on the the Compact For Safe Cosmetics blacklist so much better to steer clear of these ingredients.
I did notice though that the product contained a shea butter extract but this was so far down the list that it must have been there in very small quantities indeed! It was probably what I call a token ingredient which is included to give credence to the natural or organic claims made on the label.
The third big secret about how to get rid of dark under eye circles is that very few companies are using an ingredient which is called Haloxyl and this is one of best and most effective ones on the market to-day. Let me tell you why.
As we know, those dark circles are really caused by a build up of pigments which come from the red blood which has escaped from the rather fragile capillaries and which is also caused by the poor drainage in the eye area.
Once the blood breaks down, it tends to leave a dark smudge or color which certainly none of us really wants. It is rather like a bruise being there but it is permanent. Haloxyl has this wonderful capacity to break down these nasty colourful elements and improve overall drainage in the area as well. It can do this because it contains a flavone molecule known as Chrysin.
The other secret nobody else mentions about how to get rid of dark under eye circles is that there are two other ingredients which can be really effective. These are called Homeo Age and Eyeliss.
So, there you have it. These are the secrets that many nutraceutical companies do not really want you to know and they will spend thousands of dollars to make sure that you don’t. Now that you understand the conspiracy theory, why not click through and see a really serious company in action.

There are many products that are referred to as natural cures for dark under eye circles, but are these formulas really natural, and better yet are they safe? Products are typically dubbed all natural simply because of the primary ingredients that they contain. An organic formula could have all sorts of hazardous chemical agents lurking beneath those healthy ingredients you hear advertised.
The bulk of the formulas that are on the market are literally filled with chemical agents that the manufacturers really don’t want you to know about. These include parabens, Acrylamide, Dioxane, nitrosamines, Padimate-O, and polyethylene glycol, which are all recognized carcinogens. There are actually several thousand individual chemicals used to make cosmetics, and the vast majority can negatively affect you in some way.
So, don’t think your natural cures for dark under eye circles don’t contain anything harmful in them, because odds are they do. It is best to thoroughly check out the compounds that make up your skin care formulas before you use them, because it is hard telling what might be in there. In the case of skin whiteners, even the popular active ingredients can cause you harm.
Hydroquinone is the active compound in many of the most highly recommended skin whitening formulas available, but users should know that hydroquinone has been banned across Europe due to the fact that it has been linked to leukemia development. Ammoniated mercury and mercury (II) chloride are too other widely used ingredients, and as you know mercury is highly toxic in any form.
The finest natural cures for dark under eye circles will eliminate not only your dark circles, but your bags as well. They are effective because of the combination of two peptide based ingredients called Eyeliss and Haloxyl. Together, these compounds boost circulation, strengthen fragile capillaries, improve fluid and hemoglobin drainage, thicken the skin beneath of the eye, and improve firmness and elasticity.
Natural cures for dark under eye circles that feature Eyeliss and Haloxyl together take care of every element that cause bags and dark circles to form. You may never find a safer or more effective product for treatment of the area around the than those that contain these compounds. Give these formulas a try if you want to truly see improvement in your eyes.

The question of whether to use and eye cream or eye gel towards issues relating to the skin around or under your eyes is a very heavily debated one. Some say that with simple exercise and diet tweaks, along with a good night’s sleep; while others talk about the internal process of let’s say under eye circles and puffiness and the fact that only certain ingredients and medicines will fix the problem. Although both have valid points, one side has a little more truth than the other. So in the case of using an eye cream versus just using a basic skin care routine, there are a few factors that you need to know about.
First of all, to know how to fix anything in the world you first have to know what went wrong in the first place. So in the case of puffy eyes and under eye circles, the internal process that has gone haywire has to deal with the capillaries and their fluid and blood transporting mechanisms. When dealing with an under eye circle problem, the issue started in the way our blood has been circulated. Bad circulation and constricted blood vessels sometimes lead to the over spill of blood cells that become loose in your skin. Although there is a natural method of breaking up these blood cells, sometimes that is not enough and the red coloring (called the hemoglobin) is left behind dying our skin a deep reddish color. This is the exact case in under eye circles and bags, and as you can tell diet and exercise will help with not allowing the issue to happen again but they do nothing for the already discolored skin. Eye creams with the best eye cream ingredients can help in this instance providing you with the extra push towards completely curing the issue at hand. To keep under eye circles from forming all over again the maintenance of a good diet and healthy lifestyle is up to you, but the best eye cream with actual scientifically proven ingredients will allow for this transformation to happen
When puffy eyes are the case, almost the same exact reasons are the cause of your eye to swell. The only difference is that blood is not the case, fluid is the case in puffy eyes and the blockage of that fluid is what makes the swelling happen. Dealing with puffy eyes, eye creams and eye gels are a huge part of allowing for the toxins and other things that block up the capillaries to be broken down, releasing the built up fluid. Even though living healthy and sleeping well can help as well, you will need a treatment of some sort to help in the unblocking issue. The best eye creams for puffy eyes will contain the right ingredients to do the job and allow for smooth skin under and around the eyes.
Along with eye cream ingredients being put into eye care product dealing with specific issues relating to the eye, these ingredients should also have a safe and natural base so as to not irritate the skin any further. So not only will the best eye creams for your skin contain specific ingredients to attack the complications you might be experiencing, but these eye cream ingredients should also be gentle enough to not occur and irritation in the process. In conclusion to the debate on whether eye creams are a valid form of treatment for your face and to put in your daily skin care routine, my opinion is yes it is but only if the eye cream is the best eye cream you have found with great all natural ingredients that go directly to the issue. Check the internet for eye cream reviews on such subjects and good luck in your search.

Here is a step by step guide for how to get rid of dark under eye circles. While all of these things might not be necessary in your case, some of them are likely to apply.
1. Get Enough sleep.
Fatigue and lack of sleep are the most likely cause of smudges beneath the eyes, particularly in younger people. Although we would like to be able to party all night, get up on time and be active all day long, the human body needs rest. It is while we sleep that repairs go on insuring that things like leaky blood vessels, the underlying cause of the smudges, does not occur.
2. Get Enough vitamins.
While you might already be meeting your minimum daily requirements for antioxidants and other nutrients, chances are that you are not. Individual foods vary in nutritional content. So, it is important to take a good multi-nutritional supplement every day.
3. Get a heckup.
In most cases, how to get rid of dark under eye circles is a simple matter of following the other steps included in this article. But, they can be a symptom of an underlying illness. So, get a checkup, just to make sure that you are in the best of health.
4. Use a Good Anti-aging Night Cream.
While the ingredients in anti-aging night cream are not designed exclusively for reducing the smudges, they will support the skins health and are particularly beneficial for anyone that is over the age of 30. Actually, once we pass the age of 20, our bodys antioxidant levels start to fall. Without enough antioxidants, free radicals win. They start damaging the cells and fibers, which ultimately leads to all of the signs of an aged appearance.
5. Use a Good Under-eye Gel.
Many research and development teams have investigated how to get rid of dark under eye circles. It is a common problem, particularly for celebrities. They must always try to look their best. So, various companies have developed products that help.
The R&D teams have come up with ingredients that reduce smudges by more than 60%. As time goes by, they may fade completely.
HALOXYL, a European formulation, is one of the most effective ingredients yet to be found. If you need to know how to get rid of dark under eye circles fast, you need to look for HALOXYL, but dont stop there.
EYELISS, another European formula, has been shown to work in synergy with HALOXYL to speed the results. If you use a gel containing both of them, you should see a visible difference in a matter of weeks. You might even notice the benefits in a few days. Others have.
When the darkness seems to be a symptom of getting older, the steps included here will still be effective. It just might take a little longer for them to work.
There are other suggestions for how to get rid of dark under eye circles. The ones mentioned here are simply the most effective.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and found yourself mentally saying how stressed out you looked even after hours of sleep? Have you noticed the exhaustion in your eyes and the appearance of swollen lids as if you cried all night? If yes is your answer to these, then you are probably suffering from face puffiness or the morning face.
This problem can either be caused by too much intake of salt, change in levels of hormones, drinking alcohol, or not enough sleep. These factors lead to fluid retention that makes water accumulate more in the eye lids, thus creating the puffed out look of the face.
Thankfully, there are already a lot of methods to prevent and eliminate the appearance of these swells. What is even better is that these methods can be done by the person itself without the help of sophisticated medicines and even medical professionals.
The first step that can be done to get rid of face puffiness is to cool the swollen skin around the eyes with cold packs, ice cubes, and face creams. The main idea here is to use materials that have been chilled because the cold helps reduce the swelling and makes the accumulated water on the lids dissipate faster.
For face creams, keep them on the fridge overnight to make them ready to use in the morning. Ice cubes wrapped in paper towels, chilled spoons, and wet washcloths can also be used. Other effective home remedies include the use of herbal tea bags, slices of cucumber and potato, and even strawberries.
An alternative product to use is aloe vera gel because of its known moisturizing and soothing effects. In looking for eye creams, try to purchase those which contain this ingredient. Using it in natural gel and pure form is also advantageous. Also, avoid constantly rubbing the swollen skin because the skin around our eyes is very sensitive.
Repeated rubbing or even mere touching can infect and irritate them which can lead to worse allergies. It is also very important to remember to take contact lenses off before sleeping because it can dry out the eyes and also cause puffiness.
Getting enough sleep also helps a lot. Sleeping approximately seven to nine hours helps relieve the eyes of stress and keeps the fluid flow of the body stable. Try to go to sleep and wake up at the same hour each morning and night to keep the body regulated and well-rested.
Moreover, staying hydrated is also a key point to remember to reduce face puffiness. When the body becomes dehydrated, its defense mechanism is to store up water. These accumulated fluids sometimes go to the eyes, creating the puffed lids. Thus, it is recommended to drink the recommended eight to ten glasses of water to prevent water build-up.
Cutting down the salt intake and consuming more vegetables also helps rid puffy eyes. Having too much salt can cause dehydration and water retention in the body so reducing its intake can minimize the bloating of the eye area.

At some time in a woman’s life we are plagued with dark under eye circles. The root cause of these circles can be attributed to a variety of reasons such as stress, lack of sleep, allergies, genetics, medications or thinning skin under the eye to name a few. However, whatever the reason, they are unsightly and adds unwanted age to your face.
Concealers are effective at hiding dark under-eye circles because they are opaque (they do not let light through). Normal make-up can not disguise under eye circles and is no match for a great concealer. Therefore, in order to select the right type of concealer, it is important to note your skin type and skin tone. Furthermore, it is important to determine what exactly you are trying to cover, i.e. bluish or purple circles, reddish discoloration, puffiness or trying to minimize wrinkles and imperfections. The answer to these questions will help you in selecting the perfect type of concealer.
Choosing the correct color for your skin tone - Select a concealer that matches your skin tone, however if you use a liquid foundation, chose a concealer that is one to two times lighter than your foundation.
Color – Generally, a yellow based concealer will downplay bluish to purple under eye circles. For those circles that are reddish in color, consider a mint or soft green. A green/mint color will neutralize redness. Finally if puffiness is a problem, a soft pink will minimize the appearance of puffiness and works for all skin tones.
Choosing the right concealer for your skin type – Oily skin should use a finely milled mineral concealer, as this will minimize oiliness. For those with delicate and thinning skin under the eye, consider an eye cream that is rich in emollients and vitamins. The vitamins will nourish the eye area and help strengthen the capillary walls so that dark circles and veins are less visible.
Application – If you use a liquid foundation, apply your concealer over the foundation. If using a cream or powder foundation use the concealer first followed by your powder. Application of an under eye concealer can vary from one product to the other. Some come equipped with brushes, others are in stick form and yet others in cream form. When using a concealer just apply three dots under the eye and gently blend. Apply a light layer of powder to set the concealer, however if you have dry skin skip this step.
Tip: if your concealer feels too thick or looks dry and cakey, just mix in a drop or two of your favorite eye cream. The eye cream will absorb into the skin and thin the concealer for an easier application.
While finding the right under-eye concealer may take trial and error they are indispensible if you suffer from dark under-eye circles. Concealers will brighten the eye area and give a more youthful appearance to your entire complexion.

Letâs face it. People have been trying to learn how to get rid of dark under eye circles for thousands of years. There is some historical evidence of the use of fresh cucumber slices, olive oil and plant extracts in ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece.
It seems strange that we are still seeking the answers, today. That might be due to well-kept beauty secrets that were never revealed to the next generation. Jealousy and conceit are likely to blame.
In modern times, researchers have learned that many of the ancient remedies are actually more effective than the drug treatments. When it comes to caring for the skinâs health and appearance, natural remedies are safer and more effective than the petrochemicals relied on by the major cosmetic companies. What are petrochemicals? Itâs good that you asked.
There are thousands of different petrochemicals. They are derived from crude oil (petroleumâ¦the stuff that you put in your car) and used to make plastics, paints, building materials, herbicides, pesticides, antifreeze, etc.
What is surprising to many people is that they are also used as food additives, artificial preservatives, fragrances and colorings. The ingredients petrolatum and mineral oil are not âtechnicallyâ petrochemicals, but they are derived from petroleum. Petrolatum and mineral oil are the most common ingredients in cosmetics of all kinds, other than water.
Learning these things is important, if you want to learn how to get rid of dark under eye circles. Petrochemicals, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial preservatives, added fragrances and artificial dyes are among the ingredients to avoid.
The ingredients to look for are nutrients. Yes, it is something like a health supplement, only it is for the outside of your body, instead of the inside of your body. It is a tenet of Ayurveda (one of the oldest medical practices still in use today) that you should never put anything on the outside of your body that you would or could not eat.
In other words, using poisons is not how to get rid of dark under eye circles or care for your skinâs health. Using compounds found in plants, herbs and foods is the way to go.
An extract from the blue passion flower called Chrysin supports the strength of the blood vessels. The ingredient is included in the best eye serums, because leaky blood vessels are a cause of dark circles and bags.
Learning what causes them and address the issues is how to get rid of dark under eye circles. Why cover them up, when you can âhealâ them?
Another compound called hesperidin has proven benefits for reducing bags and shadows, because it also contributes to the strength and integrity of the blood vessels. Some of the best serums on the market contain both hesperidin and Chrysin. They work. Most people see results in less than two months.
So, thatâs how to get rid of dark under eye circles. Look for a good serum and use it every day. When it works, donât stop using it. Remember that itâs good for your skinâs health.

Eyes are the most attractive part of our body. But, they can even become a source of embarrassment. A web of spiders or dark circles around the eye area are a very common problem for all. And, undoubtedly, they make us look a lot older than our actual ages. So, the focus of this article is to take care of eyes and make them look beautiful instead of being tired.
General Tips for Eyes
Wash eyes with cold water whenever you feel like. If you feel your eyes are tired or face a burning sensation in them, splash them with cold water. This would relieve your eyes of their tiredness and make them look brighter.
Removing toxins from your eyes every day is one habit you should develop. As soon as you wake up in the morning, before washing your face, do a simple exercise which will emit toxins from your eyes and clean them. Stand in an open space or near a window and stare hard at a far away object without blinking till your eyes are teary. Let the tears flow out. They would carry toxins with them. In case you are not able to stop blinking, you may use your fingers to hold your eyes open forcibly. Hold both your lids with your fingers and stare ahead. Make sure your hands are clean. Doing this every day will make your eyes look brighter.
Exercise your eyes regularly. There are various exercises you can do.
One is rapid closing and opening of your eyes as tightly as you can. Close your eyes tightly and pull all your face muscles in a taut condition. Open your eyes and mouth as wide as possible. Repeat the procedure.
Another is rotating your eyes in all directions. One thing to remember while doing the eye exercises is to blink a lot.
Done with the general tips for eye care, we come to more specific and most common problems of eyes.
Dark Circles. They are the second most common dermatological problem, first being Acne. One thing that should be considered before getting a cure for dark circles is heredity. It you have inherited dark circles from your mother or father, it may be difficult for you to get rid of them. The only thing you can do is to try to reduce them using regular home remedies. Place thin apple slices over your eyes and relax for 15 – 20 minutes. Do this every day. You might repeat this in the morning and evening. Or, put chilled tea bags or cotton balls on your eyes. They also provide relief from dark circles. The best habit you can cultivate to reduce the dark circles is to sleep with your head at an elevated position than the rest of your body. This would keep the blood circulation in the face at the minimum and hence, the pronouncement of darkness around your eyes.
Puffy Eyes. Reduce your salt and sugar intake. Do not take huge amounts of liquid at night two hours prior to sleep. Keep water consumption also to a bare minimum. Put a slice of potato to reduce puffy eyes. Applying warm compress would be helpful. A great remedy is to apply fig slices. They would get rid of puffy eyes in matter of minutes to hours. One exercise you can do to get rid of puffy eyes is to hold the lower eye area with a finger and close your eyes with force. Do this repeatedly as long as you can everyday.
Wrinkles. Once they appear, they are most difficult to get rid of. There are many home remedies to get rid of wrinkles. First, apply a thick layer of egg white around your eyes and let it stay for 15 30 minutes. This is possibly the best home remedy. Next is mix turmeric and sugarcane juice and apply on your eyes area. Wipe it off in 15 minutes. You can massage your face with coconut oil at night to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines on your face. Apply pure castor oil to prevent appearance of wrinkles.
Last, but not the least, we come to the part of how to make your eyes look more beautiful. This has not got anything to do with make up. I am talking about taking care of your eyelashes. Longer and thicker the eyelashes, they lend more grace and beauty to your eyes and make them look exquisite. Apply sweet almond oil or pure castor oil every night to your eyelashes using a mascara brush. Saturate your eyelashes in the oil nicely. Keep in mind, whatever is good for your hair is good for your eyelashes. So, you can become more creative too.
A word of Caution: Never ever think of clipping your eyelashes as a resort to make them longer. They lose their delicate sweep which becomes the beauty of such thick lashes. Visit my blog for more such articles on skin and hair care.
